  14. There is no file format called GKS.  GKS (Graphics Kernel System) is
  15. closely related to the CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile) standard however.
  16. This is probably what you are looking for.  If so they are available from
  17. ANSI.  The relevant documents are:

  19.     ISO8632-1    Part 1: Functional Specification
  20.     ISO8632-2    Part 2: Character Encoding
  21.     ISO8632-3    Part 3: Binary Encoding
  22.     ISO8632-4    Part 4: Clear Text Encoding.
